“For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.” Psalm 145:13-15 (NLT)

How thankful I am that you are with us today. We are heading into day five of reading Psalm 145 together. If you’ve missed any other days, no worries. But if you desire to read from the beginning you can go back and start with Monday.

The verses above are a poetic song of praises to the Lord from David’s very own lips. He acknowledges God’s everlasting kingdom and how the Lord will help all those who need it. Lamentations 5:19 says, “You, Lord, reign forever; your throne endures from generation to generation” (NIV).

Throughout the Bible you will see Scripture confirm over and over the eternal reign of the Lord, and that our physical world is only temporary. As believers in Jesus, one day we will meet with our Maker with his arms outstretched waiting for us to enter His eternal Kingdom. What peace washes over me when I remember our world is only temporary but God is eternal. I can truly put my trust and faith in Him alone.

What are you struggling with today, momma? What situation in your life challenges you to put your FULL trust in God alone? Can you thank the Lord despite the fiery trial you are in?
The Lord God Almighty is our hope today, friend. His promises are secure. He is our eternal Rock. Let’s look to the Lord and praise His name while resting in who He is, no matter what we are facing today.

The Lord will always help us in the things that we do and we should have faith for the Lord will be there to help us throughout the day. We should always pray and always ask for His guidance. The love that we feel inside will be the fruit of what we have in this world. We should follow the orders and the rules that the Lord wants us to do for there will be a reward in the end. I am eager to do what is right for our own benefit.
