Day 7: Parenting Wisdom from Proverbs

Dearest Father,

You have entrusted these children into my care. I know that without your wisdom and guidance, I cannot hope to raise them to make their own wise choices.

Please help me teach my children the value of pursuing and embracing wisdom so they can experience joy and walk a guarded and protected path (Proverbs 2:4-19).

I want them to know the building blocks for a beautiful future: a good reputation built on keeping their word (Proverbs 3:3-4), a strong work ethic (Proverbs 6:6 and 8), and how to discern what is worthy of their precious hearts (Proverbs 4:23).

I know You grant wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). Please grow my love for pursuing these treasures as I seek to set the example for my children.
