Dear God,
I thank You for my children and the friendships they create. Help me to remember that You love them and have brought them to me to do the same. Give me wisdom as I seek You on what my role and responsibilities are towards my household, parents and others that You bring into my life. Help me to remember the times You have suddenly shown up in the past to rescue me from painful circumstance so that my faith will continue to grow and so my default action will be to trust in You. In Jesus’ mighty name--Amen -Tammy Holy Father, Thank You for pursuing me with a relentless love. You desire a personal relationship with me. When I yield to You, You touch the ugliness of my sin-stained heart, and make it pure, sparkling white. Father, help me to see others as You see them—loving them with the abandon with which You love me. And help me to sacrifice on their behalf. Not just with tangible items, but with my time and my emotions. All so that others can know Your love and enter into a personal relationship with You. With my teenagers, please give me the purpose and resolve to deal with difficult issues head-on in a loving manner—regardless of the anticipated outcome. I want my children to experience the joy of abundant life (John 10:10), even when it means the confrontation will be painful. I thank You again for Your love. Cover my imperfect love with Your perfect love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen -Dianne
