We all know what the Armor of God is. We all know there is a battle between good and evil, a war between God and Satan going on. We are ready to defend our marriage, our children and ourselves against the enemy. And we pat ourselves on the back when we shine up our armor a bit every day with the polish of quiet time. Especially us Moms. If we can fit in some time with God every day we feel like we are really on our way. We are getting there! But we are not even scratching the surface. What if we are called to do so much more than to ward of the attacks of the enemy. I believe with all my heart that as Mom's we are supposed to be on the front lines of the battle, initiating the attack against Satan and his minions instead of defending whenever we feel we are under attack.
But I believe we are all called to be Prayer Warriors. Especially us as Moms. Our children are the future church of Jesus. And these are scary times. People are leaving the church, especially in America, left and right. Our kids are going to hear so many reasons that Christianity is not for them. They are going to face attack from every side.
We need to be Battlefield Mom's, changing our armor from shiny and perfect to battle-scarred and used. As Mom's we need to band together as a great army, on the march against the enemy, claiming our children for Christ! We need to be prepared to get on our knees and fight for their souls in wrestling prayer, every day. We need to be Battlefield Mom's, changing our armor from shiny and perfect to battle-scarred and used. Praying for our kids as we work is awesome, but we need to get serious about it. We need to set aside time every day to pray for their future in Jesus. Are you ready to join me? Would you like to join a group of Mom's committing to pray for our children every day? Click here. In case you didn't know, there is a little give-away going on here!

Hi! I just found you through Christian Bloggers Bootcamp! I love this article! Wow, it's so encouraging and so empowering! Great work! It's funny too bc I keep a prayer journal with specific prayers for my kids and it's been about a month since I have purposely sat down to pray over them. Yet it's been nagging at me every day... This was the exact push I needed, so thank you!

Talk about a call to action! Sobering and motivating, my friend. Thanks for setting a great example. My youngest heads to college next year. This is definitely a time to be preparing in prayer!

I love the approach of initiating the attack instead of waiting for the battle! You are right on target with this one. We must arm ourselves and be ready to fight for our kids in prayer!

Hi, i am in total agreement with you. I am sorry to report thou, that the devil, has got close to my 13 year old daughter, i have had any talk's with her, and i have to pray heavy over her everyday, i pray for the Blood of Jesus cover her, i pray to the archangel Michael to protect her with His mighty sword, may his wings cover her ear from the whispers of the devil and the people the devil or useing to get close to her. May those ppl fall from grace that my daughter calls her friends and so on, may Gods spirit touch my daughter heart so she can know first hand what His Love feels like. And i pray that she never be to stubborn to ask God for forgiveness and to seek Him out! Its real, out here! My armor is used and old, its been throu an few fights with the evil one and his followers but i will always, Always, have it in the front line of defense against him that comes against my daughter, my family, my employment, co-workers, and everyone and anyone i met and pray for or whoever God puts on my heart for prayer. Thanks for letting me post about my personal fight againt the devil. May God keep us and bless us all. Amen. Thanks again
